STORY TELLING
AS YOU SOW, SO SHALL YOU REAP
One night, three thieves stole a lot of money from a rich man's house. They put the money in a bag and went to the forest. They felt very hungry. So, one of them went to a nearby village to buy food. The other two remained in the forest to take care of the bag of money. The thief that went for food had an evil idea. He ate his food at a hotel. Then he bought food for his two mates in the forest. He mixed a strong poison with the food. He thought, "Those two will eat this poisoned food and die. Then I will get all the money for myself."
Meanwhile, the two wicked men in the forest decided to kill their mate on return. They thought that they would divide the money between the two of them. All the three wicked men carried out their cruel plans. The thief who wanted all the money for himself came to the forest with the poisoned food. The two men in the forest hit him and killed him. Then they ate the poisoned food and died. Thus, these evil people met with an evil end.
Moral : Evil begets evil.

PANDIT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU
Former Prime Minister of India
[14 November 1889 - 27 May 1964]
Great Personality Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the first and most respected Prime Minister of independent of India. He shaped the destiny of the country from 1947 till the date of his death on May 27, 1964.
Apart from being a good person, he was a prolific writer, great lawyer, a wonderful orator and a great freedom fighter.
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was born on November 14, 1989 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. His father name was Shri Moti Lai Nehru, was a leading lawyer. His mother’s name was Swarup rani. Jawaharlal was the eldest child of his parents of three children, two were his younger sisters. He was born in a very good family and was brought up like a prince it can be said he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he gave up his personal comfort and joined Mahatma Gandhi in his fight for the independence of the country. He was Mahatma Gandhi’s most trustworthy follower. Mahatma Gandhi’s sudden death came as a big shock for him.
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had his early education at home. He went England for his higher studies from Harrow and Cambridge Universities. In 1916, he got married to Kamla Nehru. He had interest in political ideology, and he proved himself a distinguished political leader. Jawaharlal Nehru’s political career began in 1916. After that Nehru indulged in to the freedom struggle and left his law practice.
While fighting for independence of India from British, he spent the prime time of his life in jail. In jail he write many books his most famous books are ‘Glimpses of World History’ & ‘Discovery of India’.
Even the letters, he wrote to his daughter, Indira Gandhi, were quite informative and thoughtful. His writings give a true picture of his deep love for Indian’s. Under his president ship, Congress demanded independence from British in 1929. After India’s independence, he became India’s first Prime Minister. He was the founder of the Non Aligned Movement. His aim was to improve the standard of living of the Indian, to provide them better quality of life. He made sincere efforts for the development by introducing industrialization, starting work on dams and opening new colleges and universities. He also raised his full voice for the freedom of many Asian and African countries.
He was the father of Non-Aligned Movement and spread the message of ‘Panchashila’. The children of the country are loved by this great man. In children he saw the real future of his country. Children also loved him from the core of their heart. They know him as ‘Chacha Nehru’. His birthday is celebrated with great fervour as the ‘Children’s Day’ on November 14 every year in India.
Serving the country with his hardship, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru died on 27th May, 1964. His death and final departure left the country stunned for a long time. His last words, “I have disposed of all my files” sums up his whole philosophy and attitude to work and duty.
